Planar Analysis

               Planar Analysis uses major planes and straight lines to makes a 2d drawing into wired-like forms. In the drawing below, artist Luca Cambiaso created drawings that simplify the human form into blocks. Instead of all straight lines, Cambiaso used curves and such to create these forms. He also used grids as guidelines. The dark shadows create the three-dimensional feel as it has depth. Planar analysis uses lots of lines on flat forms to create depth. In conclusion, Cambiaso successfully presents the use of Planar Analysis.
